Breathe in Dust

I’m breathing in

Dust

And breathing out

Dust

And I am tight

And tense

Where light should

Leave feathered

Muscles rust

I am

Following some

Instinct of survival

A retrieval of

Soul begins

With that step to the

Edge

That might never

Catch you

Before you fall

I breathe in

Dust

I breathe out

Dust

And I say goodbye

To the places

I must
